Database of Dicotyledonous Orthologous Promoter Motifs

Welcome to the DDOPM website!

The Database of Dicotyledonous Orthologous Promoter Motifs is a repository of cis-regulatory motifs discovered in orthologous promoters across five plant species, namely Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana (L.) Heynh.), medicago (Medicago truncatula), soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.), poplar (Populus trichocarpa) and grapevine (Vitis vinifera) identified using the InParanoid software and the MultiParanoid software and an all-against-all Smith-Waterman alignment of peptide sequences from each species.

The database contains a total of 1,773 significant motifs discovered in 1,335 orthologous groups of promoters. The database can be queried by motif ID, by orthologous group ID and by gene ontology (GO) ID. The database can also be matched against motifs using STAMP. Motifs (Transfac-like format) and orthologous group annotations can be downloaded.
